I now understand why some call Rasmussen “Assmussen:”
It is likely that Obama’s support from within his own party will increase once he is fully recognized as the nominee. How much they will improve depends upon how the end game is handled. The key for Obama will be to make Clinton supporters believe that their candidate was treated fairly and with respect.
Ahem. That ship sailed a loooooooooooooong time ago. Unless Barry has the ability to erase our memories, we are never going to forget how Clinton has been and is still being treated unfairly and with disrespect.
If Clinton isn’t at the top of the ticket but serves as the VP nominee, I’ll vote for “Obama-Clinton,” because she can clean up after him once he’s impeached. If it’s “Obama-Insert-Name-Other-Than-Clinton’s Here,” I will vote against him.
We’ve survived eight years of Bush. We can survive four of McCain.
